A Magical Day of Wedding Photography at Cottiers: Fiona & Will's Unforgettable Glasgow Wedding.

The Venue: Cottiers Theatre

I had the pleasure of photographing Fiona and Will's beautiful wedding at Cottiers Theatre in March 2024.

Cottiers Theatre, a converted church located in the West End of Glasgow, is one of the most unique and charming wedding venues I've had the honor of working in. This day was truly one of my favourites, thanks to the lovely couple and the stunning setting.

If you're considering getting married at Cottiers Theatre, you can't go wrong. This venue offers so much.

The Ceremony

The ceremony space is spacious, accommodating up to 130 guests, and features one of the most breathtaking backdrops for your vows, perfect for stunning wedding photos. After the ceremony, there's an ideal spot outside for group photos on the church steps.

Drinks Reception

Guests can then head to the attic space upstairs for canapés and drinks at the private bar while you take couple photos. Gardner Street, nearby, offers a fantastic location for portraits with its depth and striking scenery.

Speeches

For your wedding meal and speeches, you'll return to the ceremony space, where the stained glass windows provide a wonderful backdrop, making your photos look even more magical. After the meal, guests can enjoy drinks at the bar while the area is transformed for the evening reception.

Evening Reception

I can't stress enough how perfect Cottiers is for the evening celebrations. The room's acoustics are ideal for your band or DJ, and the spacious dance floor, framed by the stained glass windows, ensures your first dance photos will be unforgettable. The party at this wedding was bouncing with great music and happy guests when I left at around 10 PM the party was still going strong.
