The Cruin, Loch Lomond Wedding Photography

The Cruin, Loch Lomond - A wedding photographer’s view.

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at The Cruin on November 9th, 2024. It was a delightful experience.

The couple stayed in the on-site lodges, which made capturing the preparation photos effortless. The lodges were spacious, comfortable, and visually appealing.

The venue itself was bathed in natural light from the windows during the ceremony, complemented by a charming wood fire that kept the room cosy.

For the formal portraits, we had a perfect spot just outside and had access to a pier/jetty on the loch for the couples photos, with the rolling hills providing a stunning backdrop.

What sets The Cruin apart from many other venues is its primary focus on being a wedding venue, rather than a hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive throughout the day. I even had the pleasure of chatting with the owner during my meal.

Overall, The Cruin is a fantastic venue for photographers, with the jetty and the outdoor areas being standout features.
